General terms and conditions
These terms and conditions of sale govern the use of the website of Captains and Rebels by ZIORA VZW with company number 1011.446.516 and registered office at Isabellastraat 59, 1703 Schepdaal, Belgium (hereinafter referred to as ‘the seller’). ZIORA VZW has VAT number BE 1011.446.516 and IBAN BE20 7310 6063 3156. The terms and conditions of sale also apply whenever a reservation or order is placed via the webshop via www.captainsandrebels.com or www.ziora.eu.

The website of Captains and Rebels by ZIORA VZW was created on behalf of and is managed by the seller. Users may view and print the information on the site free of charge for personal use, but not for commercial purposes. Anyone who places an order on the website (hereinafter referred to as ‘the customer’) confirms by placing the order that he or she is a natural person and also has legal capacity
.
Legally incapacitated persons must be represented by their legal representative who is also bound by these terms and conditions of sale and must complete the order form themselves or grant the legal incapacitated person explicit permission to do so. The provisions of the following article ‘protection of privacy’ regarding the processing of personal data remain fully applicable.

Placing the order entails a payment obligation. Placing an order on the website is considered express acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale that are published on the website and sent with the order confirmation. Acceptance of the general terms and conditions is necessary to place an order. Anyone who orders declares that they know and accept the general terms and conditions of the seller. The general terms and conditions are always available and can be consulted via the website. The general terms and conditions that were included on the website and order confirmation at that time apply to every order, to the exclusion of any older or newer provisions. If one of these conditions is not legally valid for any reason, the other conditions remain fully applicable.

Anything not expressly provided for in these terms of sale shall be governed by the provisions of Belgian law. The language of the concluded agreements is English and Dutch. Customer service can always be contacted in case of ambiguity.
Orders
An order or membership can only be bought via www.captainsandrebels.com.

Orders via the website are deemed to be placed for non-professional purposes. Companies who wish to place an order for professional purposes should, if necessary, inquire with customer service. Newspaper articles are always a professional order with incoice. The tax rate is 0% due to the startup of the non-profit company.
​
The seller undertakes to process orders placed on the site while stocks last and within the limitations formulated in these conditions. The online order can only be processed if the customer has clearly identified himself in accordance with art. ‘signature and proof’.
​
The seller reserves the right to refuse orders in the event of serious suspicion of abuse of rights or bad faith, serious suspicion of commercial purposes unacceptable to the seller or in the event of exhaustion of the stock of a specific article.

An order is only final after acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, the prices and the description of the offer. If something in the offer or after ordering is not sufficiently clear, the customer can always contact the online customer service for additional information via the contact form under the heading ‘contact us‘ or by e-mail to captainsandrebels@gmail.com. or on the telephone number 0032 472 39 41 61. All questions will be answered as quickly as possible.
Payment
The prices are those stated on the website at the time of the order.

WEBSHOP
For delivery by post in Belgium, the prices include delivery costs, with the exception of a delivery with track and trace (€6,95), orders above €50 will have a free track and trace delivery in Belgium. The costs for shipping by post to the Netherlands is free with the exception of a delivery with track and trace (€9,95) for orders below €49. When your purchase is more than €49 the delivery costs will drop to €3,95. Delivery costs with track and trace to the Netherlands will be free of charge after a purchase of €70. You can find a list of the countries we can accept as customers in the terms and conditions and in the shipping info.

ONLINE MEMBERSHIPS
Captains & Rebels offers three membership plans:

Steady Sailor Plan (Free): Includes access to one weekly article.

Rebel Leader Plan (124,50 EUR, incl. taxes): Full access to all content and benefits.

Captain's Contributor Plan (159 EUR, incl. taxes): Buy one, donate one. Your membership supports both yourself and one donated membership.
All paid memberships are billed on a recurring basis until canceled by the member. Payment methods are managed through the Wix platform. Prices include applicable taxes.

Payment must precede delivery and is made via one of the following payment methods: Bancontact, Maestro, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, Belfius online, ING online, KBC online or Google Pay.
​
Payment can also be made with vouchers (gift vouchers, discount vouchers, credit notes, etc.). If payment is made via the web store with a voucher whose amount exceeds the price to be paid, no automatic refund is possible. The customer can always contact the online customer service to obtain the difference in the form of a new voucher.

After the system has accepted the payment, the seller will confirm the order via email.
Delivery
WEBSHOP
Delivery is currently only possible in Belgium and the Netherlands.
​
The ordered item will be delivered in one of the countries listed above to the address specified by the customer.

When the customer chooses to ship to an address with 'track and trace', the customer can track the shipment via the link with tracking number mentioned therein via the e-tracker of Bpost.
​
The delivery period only starts after receipt of payment. The aim is to ensure the shortest possible delivery period. The delivery period is at least 1 working day and a maximum of 30 days after receipt of payment for delivery in Belgium, and at least 2 working days and a maximum of 30 days in other countries. The seller is not liable for delays or failure to deliver due to the actions of the carrier. If we are unable to deliver the order within the agreed time frame, the order can be cancelled free of charge.

ONLINE MEMBERSHIP
Anyone can become a member of Captains & Rebels, we accept all customers worldwide. Registration is managed via www.captainsandrebels.com. Online members have immediate access to the website.
​
NEWSPAPER
We accept companies all around the world but we do not accept every company. Companies need to request a meeting to see if our story aligns and if it's an added value for both. An agreement will be made seperatly to make sure both needs are covered. There will be industries that we will refuse immediately without proceeding to a first meeting like pharmacy or fast food chains.
Returns
WEBSHOP
In accordance with articles VI 47-52 of the Code of Economic Law, the consumer has a period of 14 days to cancel the agreement without giving any reason.

Each ordered item can be returned or exchanged for another item in one of the Captains and Rebels by Ziora VZW store within 14 calendar days. The customer will be refunded or receive a credit note. Gift cards purchased in the store cannot be returned.
Shipping costs for returns:
The customer is responsible for the shipping costs when returning an order. Returns in Belgium cost €5 and €12 for orders in the Netherlands.

The customer can also return the item by post within 14 calendar days. The item must then be packed in a closed box and sent together with the return form to the following return address: ZIORA VZW, Isabellastraat 59, 1703 Schepdaal, Belgium. For ecological reasons, we recommend that you always reuse the original shipping box for this. In the event of damage to the goods, the customer is responsible for the reduction in value.

A return label must be affixed to the outside of the box, after which the box will be handed in at a Bpost post office or post office in the Netherlands and shipped at the seller's expense. For any other method of return, the customer is responsible for all costs. The customer also bears the costs for returns from abroad.
​
Every return is accepted. Captains and Rebels by Ziora VZW reserves the right to deduct any reduction in value of worn, soiled or damaged shoes and/or clothing from the original purchase price for the refund.
​
In addition to any shipping costs, no costs or compensation are associated with returns.
After processing the return, the customer will be refunded by the seller in the same way as the customer made the payment.

MEMBERSHIPS
​Memberships are recurring and will automatically renew unless canceled. You may cancel your membership at any time through your profile on the Captains & Rebels website. No refunds will be provided for partial periods or unused time after cancellation.
Warrenty
Any problem or defect with regard to the delivery of an item, damage or qualitative deficiency must be reported immediately by telephone on the number 0032 472 39 41 61 or in writing by registered letter to the address ZIORA VZW, Isabellastraat 59, 1703 Schepdaal, Belgium, via a message on the contact page of the webshop, an email to captainsandrebels@gmail.com. The customer can expect an answer within 36 hours.

In the event of reported problems outside of normal wear and tear resulting from normal use, the customer must report this to the online customer service within 1 month of detection. A solution will then be sought together. If the delivery has to be returned to the seller, this will be done in the manner stated under art. ‘return’. The shipping costs in the event of a guarantee are borne by the seller.
The seller offers the guarantees provided for by law.
The seller is not liable for force majeure, accident, incorrect use or incorrect handling of an item by the customer. An item with an accepted defect will be replaced or repaired free of charge. If the repair costs are disproportionate, the seller reserves the right to replace the item or exchange it for a similar item.
Liability
The customer accepts electronic proof and customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of all data that he or she provides.

When placing an initial online order or reservation, the customer must follow the registration procedure. After this, the customer only needs to log in again to place a new order or reservation.
​
The final confirmation of the order by the customer is considered as acceptance of the order at the stated price. The customer's confirmation is considered as a signature and express acceptance of all transactions via the website.
​
The seller's website is intended to provide general information to the customer about the seller's products and activities. The seller only has an obligation of means with regard to access, the ordering process, delivery or other services.
​
The seller has the right to suspend or stop the site in whole or in part at any time for maintenance, updating or any other reason, even without prior notice.
​
The seller cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or damage caused by the use of the internet, by any breakdown of the system, the intrusion of outsiders or a virus, nor for any information placed or processed on it by third parties or by any fact that can be considered force majeure.​

Members are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly. Captains & Rebels reserves the right to terminate memberships that violate community guidelines or disrupt the experience for others.
Copywriting
We have developed the Captains and Rebels by ZIORA VZW webshop for the personal and non-commercial purposes of the Customer. The entire content of the Captains and Rebels by ZIORA VZW webshop (including the layout and design of the website, texts, graphics, photos, images, moving images, sounds, illustrations and software etc.) is the property of ZIORA VZW or of related companies, licensees and/or content providers. All rights associated with this, and in particular all intellectual property rights, are managed by ZIORA VZW.

The customer may only download the content and make one copy for purely personal, non-commercial use on the condition that the content of the material to which the intellectual property rights apply remains in its original state. Copying or storing any content outside of personal, non-commercial use is not permitted.
​
All trademarks, trade names, logos and products used in the webshop are protected and may not be used without the prior written permission of ZIORA VZW, its partners or the rightful owners of these rights. All signs, illustrations, images or emblems appearing on our products, accessories or packaging are and remain the exclusive property of ZIORA VZW. Reproduction thereof, in whole or in part, for any reason or for any means whatsoever, is strictly prohibited. The use of any combination with another sign, symbol, emblem or other distinctive sign is also prohibited.

All content provided within the membership is the property of Captains & Rebels. Unauthorized sharing, copying, or distribution of content is strictly prohibited. Members may not use any materials for commercial purposes without explicit permission.
